Sorry I missed last night's net. Sounds like y'all had a good time!

A big thank-you to David (K5DKB) and Phil (N5ZKF) for getting me the
check-ins and notes! The combined minutes are attached and posted online at

While visiting Galveston Island State Park, I ran into fellow ham Wayne
Foley (KX8Z), and helped him activate Galveston Island for Parks on the
Air! He will be there for a few more days, so be sure to check out
https://pota.app for KX8Z / K-3013 spots and aim your antennas southeast to
help him out! Also, if you manage to get in touch, be sure to ask him about
his family: they all have their licenses—even his youngest!

Shout-out to David (KI5SHY) for the after-meeting presentation on POTA; I
was very glad to be able to share that knowledge with Wayne!

Note: Wayne's callsign is very similar to that of our own Vic Pears (KX8V).
I always think it's really neat to find callsigns that are very similar!
