[W5BCS] 2024-07-30 Net Minutes

Howdy, all!

Great net tonight! There were many fascinating topics and a lot of helpful
advice!

As usual, the minutes are attached and posted online at
https://w5bcs.radio/minutes/nets/2024-07-30/.

As mentioned on the net, KF5WGJ and I have been setting up a forum for all
club members to communicate on various topics at https://forums.w5bcs.radio/.
We will send out more detailed instructions on how to log in later, but let
us know if you'd like to be an "early adopter" in the meantime!

I also forgot to mention that I've been working on a "quickstart guide" to
help people interested in amateur radio prepare for (and take) the exam and
get their callsign. I've added a link to the https://w5bcs.radio homepage,
and the guide can be accessed directly here:
https://w5bcs.radio/minutes/amateur-radio-quickstart/. I'd appreciate it if
you could help proofread it and let me know if I missed anything or if
there are any errors.
