[W5BCS] Next Bryan ARC Meeting - March 15, 2025

This is just a reminder that our next club meeting will be held Saturday at:

A ham radio license exam session will be held afterwards at 11:00.

Additionally, BARC is offering for sale to our members a FlexRadio 6400 transceiver and Maestro (B) Control Console (photo attached).

The FlexRadio is a software defined radio that operates with your computer, or with the Maestro control console. The radio is in the original box, includes dust cover, power cord, Ethernet cable, microphone, and hardware reference manual. The Maestro includes the unit, power cord, dust covers, and manual.  Both appear to have been very well taken care of.

Also included:
FlexControl USB Controlled Tuning Knob and the Palomar Engineers Flex Radio 6300 Transceiver RFI and Noise Reduction Kit.

This equipment is from the estate of Ernie Laney K5ENL.  BARC offers this to a member at $2400.

The radio & Maestro were powered up, connected to Internet & updated to the latest release available v3.8.23.35640.

We'll have this available to see at our club meeting this Saturday, March 15th.   It will be available to examine at 9:00 am before the meeting begins at 9:30.  If we receive more than one offer, we'll take bids through a silent auction process, closing at 10:45 am that morning.  We accept cash, check, or PayPal.
