- Washington on the Brazos Recreation area
- Hope to start operations Saturday, 2025-03-01 09:00
- Not sure on bands (probably 10 m, 15 m, and 20 m)

- Young actor playing ham radio operator in Pacific Northwest talking to researcher on mountaintop station
- Someone calls out to woman to warn that she can be seen remotely through some surveillance system
- Not to be confused with similarly named High Fidelity (2000) starring John Cusack

I can think of three:
- Tremors (1990) - Burt, the “prepper” (more CB than ham radio, but in the same vein)
- Contact (1997) - can’t remember exactly how ham radio was involved
- Frequency (2000) - talking across time using father’s radio

- I had an antenna on my rotor on a 60 ft tower
- 2m SSB beam, 13 elements, was being blown around by the wind
- Decided to take it down. It’s available if anyone wants it
