Question #218 for conversation: What frequency(-ies) do you regularly monitor?
(If interested in submitting a weekly question, email n5zkf@arrl.net)
Ron Hambric (N5SBN)
- CEOC visit this Friday, 2025-04-11 09:00
- Call in on 443.425 MHz FM (KD5DLW) repeater if you’re late
Ron Estes (KJ5EFO)
- We’ve done it! Mostly sun and warm temperatures for the foreseeable future!
- I monitor KD5DLW in the car, and KD5DLW and W5BCS on my handhelds
Kevin Walton (N4RMF)
- From when I was in Bryan:
- I used to monitor KD5DLW’s cross-band repeater
- 29.6 MHz FM - talked all around the world!
- N5ZKF: what’s your Echolink setup like?
- Just using my iPhone for now, but also have it on my PC
Phil Gates (N5ZKF)
- I’ve been hooked on scanning for a long time
- Constantly rolling through a bunch of frequencies all the time
- VHF, UHF, DMR, D-STAR, etc.
- Many local repeaters: KD5DLW, W5BCS, W5AC, K5ZY, KI5MMC, etc.
- Not much on HF, though.
