ARRL Field Day

• Next weekend: 2026-06-27/28
• Replacing rotor on trailer
• Still looking for volunteers to help set up main room (with programs)
• Raffle tickets available at the door
  • Tickets are $1 each
  • Must be present to win
  • Prize is Alinco DJ-W70T
• Will also have door prizes
• Need help with cleanup
• Will have supplies for PowerPole-to-Wago build (simple adapter)
  • Need people to help assemble
• GOTA station
• 2 Radios
  • Anyone who wants to do CW is most welcome! (Bring your own key)
• Swag and Promo materials: Field Day banners and stickers
• Setup begins 09:00 Saturday morning
  • Mike Wisby (KA5HIA): please be safe:
    • Know proper usage and safety for equipment
    • Ask for help if there’s something you don’t know
    • Stay hydrated
• Radio operations begin 13:00
  • Our exchange is W5BCS, 2A, South Texas (STX) (script will be available)
  • No changes from previous Field Day rules, (reference will be available)
  • Operating overnight: door will be locked (will be a number to call to be let in)
  • It’s best to have someone on the radio and someone else to log
  • Please don’t make any changes to the radio/antenna/computer setup!
  • One spare antenna for people to use their equipment
